From the CTPS section straw cereals

The straw cereals section met on July 21. On the agenda, validation of the results of the DUS and VATE studies in progress, approval of the controls for the next deposits, proposal to update the list of soft wheat and winter barley varieties eligible for the CEPP system, taking charge of the requests for special experiments received in 2022. The section validated the evolutions of the registration regulation for soft wheat varieties for AB.

The meeting continued in the afternoon with the presentation of the Intercéréales survey on the adequacy of offer and demand for soft wheat. This presentation opened the debate within the section and identified the first tracks of work in order to take into account the results of this work at the level of registration in the French official catalog.
