From the CTPS section beet and industrial chicory

The fall meeting of the CTPS “beet and industrial chicory” section was held on October 19, 2022.

Recurrent topics were covered: the update of the genetic progress curves by integrating the latest registrations, the status of the cultures and the VCUS trials, the progress of the SPAD2 plan and the regulatory and scientific news.

The progress of the PRNI Yellows ResisBeet project carried out by GEVES, focusing on the crucial theme of the evaluation of varietal tolerance of yellows, was exposed.
