The GEVES Board of Directors at the INRAE site in Lusignan

On 7 July, GEVES held its board meeting at the INRAE Nouvelle-Aquitaine centre in Poitiers. The aim was to highlight to GEVES’s board members the strong links between GEVES and INRAE, particularly in Lusignan, where the P3F research unit hosts a team of five GEVES staff members.

There are numerous synergies – experimental, thematic and scientific – with this unit, which specialises in ecophysiology and the improvement of forage crops and grasslands. The afternoon tours provided an opportunity to illustrate these synergies and highlight current joint projects, as well as the promising prospects for the unit and the centre. Thank you to Frédéric Gaymard, President of the INRAE Nouvelle-Aquitaine-Poitiers Centre, and to Philippe Barre, Director of the P3F unit, for their hospitality and collaboration.
