Several visits by international delegations to GEVES Beaucouzé laboratories

GEVES was pleased to welcome 3 delegations this month:

• A delegation of Turkish technical and scientific managers, as part of an exchange on varietal evaluation and harmonization of methods (visit coupled with training in varietal resistance covering the scientific bases of resistance to pests and their evaluation methods, with a focus on 2 pathosystems of interest. A key moment to reinforce skills and share best practices within the network)
• A delegation from EMBRAPA (Brazilian Agricultural Research Enterprise), as part of a scientific and technical exchange program.
• A delegation from our Irish counterparts at the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine, as part of a shared desire to meet and exchange views on seed quality analysis.

These highly enriching meetings provided an opportunity to present GEVES’ missions, R&D projects and to consider future collaborations.

Each delegation was able to visit the GEVES laboratories, giving them a precise overview of our infrastructure.
