Meeting of the UFS Working Group on the Physical and Germination Quality of Vegetable and Flower Species in Riscle

The UFS Working Group on the Physical and Germination Quality of Vegetable and Flower Species meets every two years in Anjou and in another seed-producing region. This year, the meeting took place on 8 and 9 April at the Vivadour site in Riscle.

Four GEVES staff members, specialists in germination and purity, supported the group’s work and discussed with companies the results of the ILC tests organised by GEVES for the UFS in 2025.

Several technical aspects of seed quality analysis were discussed during a workshop organised by the GEVES Physical Analysis Laboratory. The 2026 ILC programme for the UFS on vegetable and flower seeds was finalised with the working group and will begin this summer.
