GEVES’s CPVO accreditation for DUS tests has been renewed

GEVES has had its accreditation renewed by the CPVO to conduct DUS tests on a list of over 500 different botanical taxa, covering agricultural, vegetable, fruit and ornamental species.

This decision, approved by the CPVO Board of Directors at its meeting on 14 April, follows the CPVO quality audit conducted from 16 to 20 June 2025 at the GEVES experimental stations in Cavaillon, Brion and Anjouère, as well as at the station of our subcontractor: the ONF’s PNRGF in Guéméné-Penfao.

The auditors applauded the competence and expertise, as well as the professionalism and dedication, of the staff at GEVES and its subcontractor.

The DUS studies carried out at GEVES or by its subcontractors can therefore be used, for the many species covered by the authorisation, to grant a Community plant variety right.
