FAO/ISTA Webinar on the integration of new technologies in seed testing

A webinar organised jointly by the FAO and ISTA took place on 4 October. The focus was the integration of new technologies into seed quality testing.

On this occasion, GEVES presented its recent innovations in terms of using artificial intelligence, both for routine analyses with the partial automation of other seed determination analyses, and for ongoing projects such as the automation of X-ray analyses for insect detection.

The webinar was a great success, with more than 500 connections across the world.
