BMT17 in Montevideo

The 17th session of the BMT was held in Montevideo (Uruguay) from 10 to 13 September. This meeting, now an annual occasion, is an opportunity to discuss the work being carried out by UPOV member countries on molecular techniques for use in DUS testing. Forty participants (compared to about 80 last year in La Rochelle) gathered in the Uruguayan capital and about fifteen presentations were presented. This included a French presentation of the results on the SNP rapeseed project. Documents INF17 and TGP15 were also discussed with a substantial contribution from France.
