Shareseeds survey: join us in setting up a plant pathology seed exchange network

GEVES coordinates the Shareseeds project (support by Euphresco). The objective is to build a network to facilitate seed exchanges between suppliers and users.

Seeds are an essential resource for specific research projects, development of new pest detection methods, organisation of proficiency tests and training. However, acquiring seed can be difficult, especially in the field of pathology where healthy or pathogen-infected seed lots are required. In this context, it appeared necessary to build a network of laboratories and seed actors to facilitate the exchange of seed material.

The first step of our project is to set up a survey to identify seed needs and suppliers ready to share material. If you are interested in having access to seeds or in providing seeds, we invite you to fill in this survey:

All your answers and remarks will be very useful for this project, it will allow us to build the best seed exchange network to meet your needs and requirements. Thank you for your participation and your help!
