Seed pathway of pest dissemination in forest trees: their identities revealed!

Since 2018, the ISTA Reference Pest List project aims to revise the repertoire of seed-borne pests in about 50 non-vegetable species. A few days after the International Forest Day (21st March), the ISTA Reference Pest List was enriched with data collected on 5 tree species (Araucarias, spruces, pines, firs, Douglas firs). In total, 50 seed-borne pests were identified, of which 9 can be seed-transmitted.
