GEVES present at ABIM 2026

The ABIM (Annual Biocontrol Industry Meeting), a must-attend event for international players in the biocontrol sector, took place from 20 to 22 October in Basel, Switzerland.

This year’s event brought together around 2,000 participants: manufacturers, start-ups, CROs, research institutes, regulatory services companies and industry experts. With nearly 165 exhibitors, the event spotlighted the latest innovations in biocontrol, biostimulation and formulations. The event also provided an opportunity to engage with representatives from across the value chain on regulatory issues, the development of new sustainable solutions and the acceleration of the agroecological transition.

On this occasion, GEVES presented its research activities in the areas of methodology and the evaluation of biosolutions, including efficacy and phytotoxicity trials, as well as the evaluation of combinations of protection methods.

The poster presentation sparked numerous discussions that are essential for continuing to develop appropriate evaluation methods in the context of agroecological transition.
