Basics of Plant Pathology course

On 10 and 11 October, GEVES organised the Basics of Plant Pathology course.

The course covers the main principles of plant pathology (pests and infectious strategies, detection methods, plant defences and control methods, phytosanitary regulations), alternating theory lessons, classroom observations and visits to laboratories (the SNES pathology laboratory and the BioGEVES detection centre).

7 curious and attentive people took part in this training course, which provided an opportunity for a great deal of discussion and exchange.
