A delegation from Laval University in Quebec visits GEVES

During SIVAL, representatives from Laval University (Faculty of Agriculture and Food Sciences – FSAA) chose GEVES as part of a series of visits to research institutes organised by Angers Loire Développement. This series of visits is part of their drive to develop an Agtech zone based on innovation in plant production.

After attending the SIVAL conference organised by GEVES on “Evaluating seed quality: history and technology”, the afternoon was an opportunity to present the imaging and digital phenotyping tools developed at GEVES to evaluate the physical and germinative quality of seeds in our laboratories.

A better mutual knowledge of our activities which may lead to future collaborations.
