GEVES contributes to ISTA reference document on GMO detection

As co-pilot of the project, BioGEVES participated in a 4-day meeting devoted to writing a Handbook on GMO detection in seeds (“GMO Handbook”). Eight members of the ISTA GMO Technical Committee were invited to the Laboratory of Research and Analysis on Seeds (LaRAS) at the Bologna University (Italy), in order to work intensively on this substantial task. The final document will cover different aspects of GMO detection, including descriptions of available technology, statistical aspects, and the quality system according to ISTA principles.
