The CTPS Fruit Species Section mobilised as part of the Fruit & Vegetable Operational Programmes

Measure 3.4.10 of the Fruit & Vegetable Operational Programmes enables professional organisations to obtain subsidies for planting fruit varieties that reduce the use of synthetic plant protection products.

The CTPS Fruit Species Section was commissioned by the Directorate-General for Economic and Environmental Performance of Enterprises (DGPE of the Ministry of Agriculture) to draw up a list of apple, pear, peach and chestnut varieties eligible for this measure. These lists have been validated for the 2025 call for grants.

The Section will now work to update them annually, thanks to the work carried out by expert groups representing the entire sector.
