Senior analyst certification: GEVES training courses for recognised laboratories

Organised by GEVES in partnership with SEMAE Formation, a training session to prepare for the Senior Seed Analyst Certificate took place from 25 to 28 November 2024.

For their operations, seed companies with a recognised laboratory must have employees holding the ‘ Fundamentals of Seed Analysis“ and “Senior Seed Analyst” certificates. These qualifications are essential to assume the responsibility of a recognised laboratory.

During this course, 10 trainees were trained by several instructors from SNES laboratories and SEMAE’s Quality and Official Control Department.

The various modules covered the applicable standards and requirements, as well as different topics such as metrology, equipment control, the quality system, in-house training, audits and ILC.
