Following its meeting in Angers, the Administrative Council of CPVO (Community Plant Variety Office) was invited by Arnaud Deltour – CEO of GEVES – to visit GEVES’s head office and laboratories in Beaucouzé on 21 March. 50 visitors including Mrs Bistra Pavlovska President of CPVO council, Martin Ekvad CPVO President, Mr Peter Button UPOV Secretary General, and the representatives of Ministries of Agriculture from member states, had the opportunity to continue their discussions at a reception organised by GEVES. Our EU counterparts were able to see technology used by GEVES, missions assigned to GEVES, and its openness to collaboration and partnership.
